Moorland gin

Moorland is Restaurant La Belle’s own creation. In this gin you taste hints of fir tips, heather and devil’s claw: flavours and scents that refer to the unspoilt countryside of Geel-Bel.

‘Flavours of the fir-wood’ is no accidental subtitle. After an exploration with a local guide, we identified the flavours of the surrounding countryside. Less than a kilometre from the restaurant you find heather, shadbush berries and pine needles. The marsh nearby is called the Duvelskuil, after the devil’s claw that grows there in abundance.
